WTB: NES Controller Port
« on: February 24, 2005, 11:38:26 pm »
Does anyone have the the front controller port of a NES they want to part with.  I can't seeing paying the 20 bucks shipping on Ebay for a NES system when all I want is the front ports.

Thanks

how do you want me to take this thing apart?  do you want the whole board or only the plastic?

Just the front face plate for it (the thing that has the red 1 and 2) and the actually controller plugs. I only need an inch or two of the wire they are attached to, as I'll just be wiring it into other wire I have.

Thanks

do you know about wiring snes controllers, nes/snes hardware, all that good stuff?  i'll send you this, but you got to help me if i ever decide to make something.  i figure you'd have an NES if you were that into it, though.  you're just gonna use it for your arcade?  can i get shocked by cutting these off or if the wires touch?

im a big NES modder, dont worry about getting shocked, the ports are modular and just unplug ,besides only 1 wire has power and its only 5 volts when the system is on.

heres something to think about, USB is also 5 volts  ;D

Well you could make your own front panel NES adapter.

 ;)
