You can get happs joysticks cheaper from Bobroberts.com.  What particularly are you looking for??
4 way/8 way, fighter sticks, etc??

Please see this thread right here on this board:

Ponyboy is a member here that sells joysticks and other items.  Everyone that has purchased from him has only good things to say about him.  He also has EXCELLENT prices.

I'll vouch for Ponyboy. He's a good guy to deal with.

no, you all got me wrong.. i what meant is, are there any other joystick beside ultimate, competition and super...i like the happ super because it feels smooth, but it too short and i dont like the handle style, i like the comp or ultimate handle..so what im looking for is a specific joystick that built like a super with a comp or ultimate handle...

The Happs Perfect 360 - optical and smooth. No more annoying clicking!

I think the The Happ P360 is like what you described.

There are more places than Happs.  Check out Ultimarc or eBay for some other joysticks.

The p360 DETECTS the diagonals, it just doesn't let the STICK get stuck there, like the comps.

It doesn't have the square hole in the base that the comps/ultimates do.
It has a round hole, so the stick goes around very smoothly to all 8 positions--much like the Wico leafswitch sticks.

Try ultimarc.com and groovygamegear.com - both sell very nice non-Happ sticks.
Betson, Suzo, and Wico all have sticks.
There are some super-cheapo imports I won't point you at because they suck.
And there are some decent Jap sticks, but I don't know jack about those.

There's all sorts of sticks that they don't make any more you could find on ebay that I won't go into.  Dozens.  Hundreds.

Oh, and NBA's right about the 360s- they do diagonals just fine.

The p360 is an 8way joystick.  However, the diagnols on the p360 are harder to hit than the supers.  It took me a little getting used to, but I am mostly unaffected by it.  The hard to hit diagnols really only matters for fighting games.  More specifically, tekken -- there are just some moves I cannot do that either start or end at a diagnol.  The dragon punch from Capcom was kind of tricky at first, but with some practice, I can now pull them off with ease.

I would really like to try some Japanese arcade controls, but the cost is prohibitive, the dimensions are different and they need a metal panel.
