Bezel/plexi mounting question..
« on: February 22, 2005, 08:52:51 pm »
Does anyone know how to mount these without having any screws visible? Whenever I see bezels on real arcades there is no indication on how they are attached, and you cant see any screws. Just wondering, please help, thanks.

If you have a black border, just put velcro on the back where it rests on the rails.

Slot the sides of the cab.

Slot the rails it rests on (so it rests in the rails).

The plexi monitor overlay/bezel are usually held in place by the control panel at the bottom.  The top edge is held by a groove routed in the cab. On the back side, the monitor opening is framed with 3/4" x 3/4" wood strips. The setup allows you to quickly remove both the bezel and overlay by unlatching the control panel, then lifting them out by the bottom edge.
