The guy is offering MAME for sale, in a packaged DVD with a printed case?. Also states there is no illegal content....on 3 dvds??.....perhaps he is related to Mr Foley.

Think I should report this to ebay then?, wasn't sure if there was someone in the MAME community who dealt with this sort of thing.

The link's been edited out, but there are several people offering MAME CONTENT on ebay.
It's a compilation of the screenshots, marquees, bezels, etc...
It doesn't include the MAME executables, any front ends, or any ROMS with it.

It may have been one of those auctions that you saw.
I HAVE seen people offering the executables and ROMS in the past though.
