No better time to learn than now!  ;D

Some basic soldering tips!

Be careful not to touch. Hot.

And the smoke is bad for you, so work in a well ventilated area.

A clean iron is a hot iron!

Have fun!

Fire bad!

You can do it. It's like gluing, but you have to heat it up first?

after clicking on the link they provided in the tutortial, you get an error message. I cleaned up the link and found this resistor:

Thanks,

Just telling you, make sure you look into solderring quickly before you try it.  You need to get a little solder on the tip of the iron and make sure when you heat it up that you touch both the wire AND the place youre solderring to.  Only do it for like 3 seconds TOTAL :)

okay, well thanks guys, i ended up removing both and soldering two new resistors onto the Controller port... ^.^ works great... also now my problem is trying to hack analog... =/ with already ruining 2 resistors.. -.-? anyone wanna share with me the secret of how to solder leads onto analog?!!? is it just me or does it seem that you must solder two wires per button, onto two leads on the cherry switches? ^.^
