Kiddy-Cab Examples?
« on: February 22, 2005, 02:38:48 pm »
I've got a friend who wants a machine for his wife and kids.
Personally I'm into clean design on everything I build so this is way off my radar.

Wondering if anyone has any good examples of a cartoony kid-friendly theme.
I'm thinking something with multiple button colors and arcade characters all over it.

I'll be following this.  My daughter has asked for a kid-sized cab.  Of course she's in her "pink and purple" stage, so colour schemes and buttons are fairly easy (purple buttons with pink sanwa candy-cab joysticks).

But it'll still be intersting to see what others have come up with.

A unique shape to the sides with a large character to match may be a good direction.
Example: Burgertime

NO MORE!!

I guess it depends on how small the children are?  Here are a couple minis.
Next I'll be on fries, and that's when the big money starts rolling in.

Thanks guys.
This is going to me a full-size cabinet, same design as my others. Just looking for color ideas/kid-friendly themes.

Nannuu those cabs are AWESOME. I base all my designs around a black cabinet with colored t-molding for punch, so those are just my style. Gonna have to build one of those for my 3 year old's B-day, he'll love it.

Got any more pic's of them? I must've missed that post.
