Tab not working!
« on: February 22, 2005, 07:22:49 am »
I know this sounds like a stupid question (probably because it is!)

Im using Mame32 and for some reason when I press tab to bring up the settings menu whilst playing a game, nothing happens! Any ideas what I may have done to cause this?

Thanks

More than likely, your TAB key for entering the config menu got
changed to some other key....

I've run into this a few times when kids messed around
with all of my buttons on my control panel... its not a pretty thing.

I now use a certain 'combination' of buttons to get to the config
menu....

Im sure there is an easier solution, but I ended up wiping
out the .cfg file that stored the button settings and re-set
the buttons up from scratch....

...so I will ask you... "Deal, or No Deal?"

Thanks, I figured it may have been something like that! Only thing is I havent got any kids to blame it on!

How do you set up a combination of keys to access the menu if u dont mind??

Thanks

Thanks for your help! I feel stupid for not checking the FAQ first. For a start I thought no-one else would have had a problem like it but know i guess that every problem that has been had, at least ten other people have had it previously!

Thanks again!!
