SK Jukebox arcade monitor resolution
« on: February 22, 2005, 05:26:51 am »
Hi,
I have tried a few jukebox's to set up on my mame cab and I really like this one. I am using mamewah and windows xp. My screen resolution is setup for 640x288 but when I run SK JukeboxI get a cramped layout which is not as good as the demo screens on his web site show. Has anyone got this running on their mame cab. I am also using an arcade vga card which boots inot mamewah I then select SK jukebox ffrom my list of emulators. I have searched the config files for a different resolution setting but could not find one?? Any help?? By the way GREAT PROGRAM !!!

First.... create your setup non-full screen at 640x288 on a normal monitor.  You will want to play with the fonts mainly.  All the other components (most of the other components) are based on your resolution.

I was in the same boat for a bit but the clincher was the screen size (not resolution)... but what I couldn't do is get the controls to be big enought on a 15" screen.  The number pad was way too small to be useful (hit the wrong one 50% of the time) and I couldn't get a reasonable set of controls without the number pad up...

BUT...

I haven't tried the last 3-4 versions to see if there are new options.
