controlling sub and volume together?
« on: February 19, 2005, 08:18:15 pm »
hello

I'd like to control both my sub woofer and my volume to my cab at once

presently my subwoofer sits inside my cabinet and is seperate to the vol control, so when I
turn the volume down or off to the main speakers, the subwoofer still continues to boom..

looking at the volume / power control from the underside, the solder points look like so.

it is a voulme and power switch combined, so when it is turned down to minumum, it also clicks and switches off....

the sub volume control seems to only have 2 points looking at the underside

  0   0             < - 2 main points under the pot

000000

firstly, is it safe / possible to connect the subwoofer volume control points to the
main speaker volume control points, if so - which points on the speaker volume control should I attach the two subwoofer solder points??

I can supply pics if it helps.

thanks!!
