Where can I find this N64 plug (pic)
« on: February 14, 2005, 03:06:01 pm »

This came out of a PSX/N64 usb adapter, and, unfortunately, my new puppy had a good time with it when I wasn't looking. Anybody know where I can find a replacement (short of buying a new adapter, now out of stock everywhere I've looked)?

Well considerring its an N64 plug, look around your area, maybe a friend has one, or if you're older, maybe a friend's son has one in which he doesnt use.  Kids will do anything to make money, and if the person is really youre friend, he wont mind giving you a controller that you can strip and do yourself.  Otherwise, my advice : Garage Sales!

I have a question for you... can you take those psx/n64 adaptors apart and try and stick them into the front of an n64 shell? i have that as an idea for my mame project (expected start tba)

I want to buy 4 of those things... cut off the front of the n64, put those ports where the ports are supposed to go on an n64....
and use a 4 port USB hub to plug it into my computer for some authentic n64 emulation. I would love to play Perfect Dark at a reasonable framerate for a change :)
