5v taken from KE-USB36 for Perfect 360?
« on: October 24, 2002, 01:02:28 pm »
I have a Hagstrom KE-USB36 (http://www.hagstromelectronics.com/keusb36.html) with the IOX36 Breakout Board, and I also have a Happ Perfect 360 Joystick.

Has anybody taken 5v off of the Hagstrom KE-USB36, or IOX36 Breakout Board?  Can anybody tell me where to take it from?  Can I just take it from the Trackball Header (I am not using the Trackball header), even though no Trackball is active, or connected?

Is there a site anywhere showing how somebody wired their KE-USB36?

Thanks.

You can get it from the keyboard connector before the KE.

(opps... premature post)

I got mine from a keyboard -> keyboard/mouse y adapter for laptops.  It worked great (just cut open the mouse cable)
