help getting optical joystick to work with x-arcade
« on: February 08, 2005, 06:02:32 pm »
hi, i was told by one of the guys from SlikStik that this forum would help me with the problem im having...

the problem is: on my 2-player x-arcade stick, i just installed a HAPPS P360 joystick to the 1-player side, now the only thing left is where to plug in the 5+ volt wires into the motherboard on the x-arcade control panel... can someone please show me a diagram or help me in any other way?

thank you very much in advance ^__^

Did you try asking the guys at X-arcade about where to get your 5V? They have been rather closed mouth about their interface but maybe a DVM could help sort it out.

Can't be too hard to figure out.

Look at where the wires from the cord attach to the pcb. You'll find a small can type capacitor between 2 of the wires. Those 2 wires are ground and power. Done...and done.
