Hello,

I am new to this hobby, but I'm interested if anyone knows if there is a place where I can purchase a joystick with a button on top, like the  Battle Zone arcade cabinet had?

ebay is about your only option for those exact joysticks.

A better option would be to keep an eye out for Vindicators, Sarge, etc... controllers that used the same TYPE of controllers (up/down 2-ways, with fire buttons).
These will have fire buttons AND thumb buttons on them.

Or if you can get ahold of a Wico base and a Wico Command Control joystick, you can hack it, as I describe in this thread:

NO MORE!!

I got a new set on eBay (yet to hook them up though) for a reasonable price.  I put the panel back up on eBay and got most of my $$ back.   The key is to look for BZ control panels w/ the controls, not just the joysticks.  HTH.
