sweet!  I'll be there.  I missed the last one because it was on the same day as the American Royal BBQ (I'm a judge) but definitely won't miss this one.

Have you ever bought anything at previous auctions?  If so, what? (and price, condition)

I'd like to go - may have to save some green for it.

I'd also be interested to hear how the selection has been in the past.

Almost certainly.   I need to get rid of some games.

The selection is kind of hit-or-miss. The last one I went to (last spring) had a mostly poor selection. It was a little weird, because they started auctioning knives for the first half-hour or so. But, you never know. I'm pretty sure I'll go. We'll have to get a little BYOAC group meetup if we can.

The one I went to about a year or more ago here started off with a bunch of chinese slot machines.  My buddy got one for $50 and it kicked ass!  We took my two year old to his house and she was winning up a storm.  Something you don't realize about those damn slot machines is how loud they are in a normal-sized living room.

Then there was this one guy probably around my age (30) that bought like 10 games.  He spent a few grand easily.  I asked him if he was putting them into an arcade in town somewhere; his reply: "nah, they're for my basement".  punk!
