Thanks for everyone's help, I'll call him today to ask about the artwork, what it actually comes with....etc. It just sucks I had to talk to him from work yesterday, especially since I work in a restauraunt, where it's noisy as all hell!!
And to Lilwolf, I forget who gave me the website, I want to say GGKoul or neomartin, I'd have to check earlier threads, but he gave me the website to the happy hour bartop. And once I picked up Project Arcade from borders and saw the picture in it of the bartop, I immediately got on the phone to my friend who is fairly decent with woodworking, electrics, etc. (he converted his MK2 machine into a sega genesis and sega cd) if he'd help me build it.
So far we really just printed out the plans, measured my monitor which is about 2 inches bigger than the monitor used in the project. Then we measured and cut out the side panel for it, brang it over to my house and put it up next to the monitor, it looks like we'll have to add about 2 or 3 inches in depth to the bartop, to fit my ViewSonic UltraBrite A70f+.
He said the same thing about planning and whatnot, he said once we plan it out, buy some nice wood ( we were just using plywood in his back yard, slightly damaged) get all the measurements + tools ready, he said it could take as little as 2-5 hours to construct.
So I'm definitely on my way to building a bartop, just need to research what the best wood to use is, if a six button street fighter setup for a bartop is a little too outrageous..
But thanks for everyone's help!! I'll have to post some pictures after we really start making some progress!!!
Thanks again everyone!!!
