WTB: 2" red & blue translucent leaf buttons
« on: January 26, 2005, 01:25:46 am »
Hello all!

I'm looking for 2 blue and 9 red 2"long translucent leaf switch buttons, switch holders, pal nuts, and switches.  Seems to be tough to find the 2" variety, so I thought I'd check the group.  Email or PM if you have them (or know a good source!).  UNfortunately, I'm all out of trade-bait for this transaction.

I, too, have been looking for long red translucents ... without much success ....

I did come across this link the other day, but the prices seem a touch high (scroll down the page to find the buttons):

Thanks for the link!  $50+ for my relatively small CP - so be it (I gotta have them).

De nada ... let us know how it turns out (I have been holding back on ordering a bunch of short reds from Bob Roberts as I would prefer not to fudge the mounting and have no desire to rout spots for 30+ buttons).

Before you order, you may want to look at:

http://www.dameon.net/BBBB/leafsw.html

and see if you wouldn't rather fudge it.

Also be sure to check out Knievel's  tutorial on the topic (it may convince you not to fudge it).

Cheers,
