Monitor Plexiglass and Control Panel
« on: January 23, 2005, 03:00:49 pm »
I'm planning swappable control panels and I'm not sure about the front where the plexiglass for the monitor and the control panel meet.  I have attached two pics showing the area I'm talking about.   I want to try to minimize the space so that 1) you can't drop crap down into it and 2) so that it looks more professional.

How much space do you have for yours and/or did you do anything to completely make a nice connection.  This is more for people who have swappable panels.

Another idea I know I saw on some of the examples is have a panel for admin buttons or instruction artwork to cover it, but I don't remember those that did this.

The red is circling the area in question.  The yellow in the shaded  model is the swappable control panel.

I hope this makes sense.
