Help finding Megatouch type FE
« on: January 18, 2005, 03:13:49 pm »
I'm building a home made megatouch type machine and plan on using a lot of the games made by www.nstorm.com. What I'm trying to find is an easy FE that would have the look of a true Megatouch. Any ideas? Even just some software that allows me to make embeded menus would work. THANKS.

Well I found a piece of software that will let me create the menus I wanted and thought I'd share in case someone else wanted something similar. It's called Quick Menu Builder. Here is the link.

At $20 a game, that could become an expensive cabinet, or a naggey one.

Actually you can get these for cheaper than that. You can also find hue collections of these in the bargain bins at computer stores.

Hold on before you get ahead of yourself.

Do you have the hardware yet?

Touch screens usually work in that you touch the screen and it produces a "click" or a "drag" while you are touching the screen.  The games you have linked to don't work that way.  With them you move the mouse to move and click to perform some sort of action.  Unless I'm really missing something, I don't see how these games can be easily played with a touch screen.
