for a decent quality button\switch that is?

I'm going to need:

22 -- Black
16 -- Blue
2 -- 1 player start
2 -- 2 player start
1 -- 3 player start
1 -- 4 player start

You can get HAPP Competition buttons with Cherry switches for $1.49 each from either Terry on eBay or from Ponyboy same price, but different payment methods.

That's a really great price for that switch. And the more you order from Terry, it's a flat rate to ship them, just $3.85 Priority.

Occasionally he sells em at 1.35 but I'm not sure those come with the Cherry switches, would need to ask.

Slikstik has them for $1.40 each with Cherry microswitches. Min order of ten but sounds like you have that covered. I got ten of them a couple weeks ago along with several other items. If you are interested they also have some of the best prices on the Happ trackball.

Sure you can. They'll just be CRAP.

I bought some .99 buttons for my Arcade Classics cab, and they're *awful.* Takes a lot of force to actually push the button down. I'm going to replace them next time I place an order.

First of all, if you're not an arcade "aficianado" (Spelling?), You'll be happy with X-Arcade stuff.

Just don't put them next to Happs stuff. You'll notice then...

Those X-Arcade buttons will do just fine. As was said by tmasman, you can't really tell the difference unless you set them side by side.

I've ordered them from Happs on sale a couple of times in the last year or two for around .99 cents to $1.20 each. They'll have a new sale starting 2/1 so I'd wait a few days just to see. They've not had them on sale for awhile...so maybe it is time...
