Custom arcade buttons

Does anyone know where I would be able to purchase custom arcade buttons?  I want to make my slikstik buttons look like the buttons on my xbox controller for better control of my xbox.  I would need different colors as well as X,Y,A,B,L,R,START,BACK written on the buttons.  Any companies provide this type of service?

Nail Polish works REALLY good if you get have a steady hand..

just use black, then clearcoat.. did a keyboard like that and it held up for 5 years before i tossed it into the trash because i wore the keyboard out before the paint..

If you are using HAPP comp buttons you can get these clear  button condoms

And print clear lables and put these over the buttons to protect the sticker.

This person was selling printed buttons (with whatever art you want on them) on Ebay a while back.  I kept his email in case I wanted him to do something for me for my jukebox cabinet.   Anyway, I do not have any examples, but he basically uses thin clear sticker to print on then applies some clear coating to the button to cover up the clear sticker film.   I personally have not used his services yet though, but his examples on his Ebay post looked good.

Anyway, contact him and see is he is offering this anymore ....  If so, then maybe you can post some examples in this forum to spread the word for others ..... did not occur to me previously and now I have no such example button pics.

You can do the same thing or better than what's pictured above on your inkjet printer at home with various types of adhesive clear lables that are made by various companies...

The other day in Wal*Mart I came accross some stuff, I think it may have been made by estes (the model rocket and such company) then again it may not have been... anyways, it was inkjet printable decal paper for doing your own custom labels for your models.

Personally, if I were to do some custom buttons I would put scotch tape on the button, cut out whatever the heck you wanted to and use a product called Vinyl Dye.  It's made by many different companies and is available in most if not all autosupply stores and even in Wal*Mart's auto section.  Plus it's available in many different colors!

I've used printable model decal paper before, and it's really not meant to be handled alot... on a button face it'd get shredded without some sort of protective coating.

Nannuu did some vinyl sticker sets that had at least Playstation icons on them... perhaps there are people who got these sets who don't need some of their icons.  Anyone who's got these stickers want to share the icons they have left over?  How are those holding up, anyway?

I got a metric buttload of the labels from nannuu and have installed them on close to ten different cabinets.

They have held up wonderfully. Each one (on my own personal units) still looks brand new. My only complaint about them was that it was difficult to center them.
