Looking for large VGA monitors? (Detroit/Ann Arbor area)

Thread on alt.games.mame

First, I have no affiliation with the seller of these monitors, I just picked one up from him.  I bought one of the 26" ones.  It's a NEC model # D2600A.  I couldn't pass up deal since he lives only about 20 minutes away from me.

I sent Andy Warne an email with a few questions about this monitor, and he confirmed that it is a very high spec 15-35 Khz monitor and possibly the best monitor you can use for a MAME cab.  It has multiple inputs, and monitor pass through as well.  Here's some shots I took of the i/o rear panel and the controls on the front.

From Mike's posts (linked at top) and the conversation I had with him, he is very reluctant to ship these.  Anyone in the Detroit/Ann Arbor area - do not miss out on this deal.  If anyone would like to see some screen shots of it in action, just let me know.

** EDIT **

I should mention that it comes with a RGBS cable, so all you need to connect it to your vga card is one of those vga cables w/ the separate RGB, H & V sync BNC connectors.  I just used a BNC T-connector and combined the H & V sync for the composite sync.  Technically, you are supposed to use a XOR gate circuit, I guess....

Or, just hack a standard vga cable.  I hate cutting plugs off things, though.

It also just occurred to me that this probably wasn't the correct board to post this.  Mod's, please move to whatever board is most appropriate, Buy/Sell or Video/Monitor.

No, he never mentioned CA when I talked to him.  He said that he drove to Chicago to pick them up, but I don't know how the deal was arranged.

If you can't swing a deal with him or his contact, then you might want to check out trade show rental places if have any locally.  I'm pretty sure he got his this way, the rental place selling off the old to make room for new.
