  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
cocktail arcade time
« on: January 07, 2005, 01:06:40 am »
Things started out a couple years ago i found some  plans to make a metal ddr pad, which compared to the plans i've looked at for thes diy arcades is a piece of cake. So soon after the ddr pad I ordered up a joystick and buttons in hopes of hacking a playstation controller. That idea failed, I couldn't wire the dual shock thingies and I jacked up the wiring  to the point where the joystick sits up in the closet. So......

I've looked at these diy plans and Im interested in making a cocktail arcade one mainly because it can double as a table and isn't quite as obtrusive as a standard upright arcade cabinet.

My skill level isn't quite high enough to follow along with kyle lindstrom's Mr/Ms. Pacman arcade plans. If anyone has detailed instructions (Im talking about step by step arcading building for dummies) please  as a fellow diy man post them.
