Any sugestions on where to get folding table legs?
« on: January 06, 2005, 03:41:36 pm »
I'm going to make a portable mame Pedistal that can plug into any TV and I'm going to put in some folding table legs on it.

Gonna get teh overlapping type to take less space and the kind with adjustable height.

Any suggestions on where to get some at good prices?

One of THESE may fit the bill of what you are looking for.
You could probably build the CP to overhang it a bit, and just bolt it straight through the existing top.

It says they are available at K-Mart and Lowe's.

That one adjusts from 24-28".
Their "project table" has an even wider adjustment range on the height (28-36"), but may be TOO high, once you get the CP bolted to it.

I measured a Crystal Castle and a Arkanoid and they are 37" and 38" from the floor to the bottom of the CP.
Vids:  Home built MAME machine, Crystal Castles. Arkanoid
Pins:   Williams Aztec (working). Stern Nugent (not working...yet), Williams Phoenix (major not working, missing parts.... )

Always on the lookout for buying 90's game with Ramps that need work...

For the cheapest (possibly free) folding legs, I would suggest trying to find someone who has one of those particle board tables with folding legs, or a card table with folding legs that has been damaged or that the owner doesn't want any longer.

Next I would imagine you could find something on ebay.

The third option would be more expensive, but you would be able to possibly get exactly what you want, would be to check here.

Hope this helps,
