Can anyone recommend shippers in the toronto area?
« on: January 03, 2005, 03:17:43 pm »
I tried to sell the mame machine before christmas but sadly all the offers were from far off people--no interest locally it seems.  So now i want to offer shipping the game inside north america and see if this can get it out of the living room ;D.

anyone know any good shippers that have good rates and have moved a arcade cab before?

alsom what is required in terms of crating--fastening it to a pallet or do i have to build an all out crate for it?

its better to not post and be thought a fool, then to whip out your keyboard and remove all doubt...

Heh heh. When I "misread" the title, I thought you said "strippers". I know one place, it's called the Brass Rail down on *Young?* street... ;D

But seriously, that will end up costing a lot to ship. What, something like 3 trillion pounds... (I've had to lug a couple of arcade cabinets into my basement and man those things are heavy!)

No takers in the Toronto Area?? Did you try posting it on CGCC?

I converted a stripped SI deluxe into a working machine--it looks pretty decent although the paint was a bugger to match and i still didn't get it right on.  sorry for the delay GGkoul-I sent you a Pm back

and jabba no apologies necessary ;D

i think I'll post the cab in the buy and sell and see what comes...
