Happs Gear Shifts for sale
« on: October 10, 2002, 12:42:28 pm »
I'm cross-posting this onto the main forum to make sure everyone sees it.  Please feel free to remove it if that's not appropriate -- Troy

I just won an auction for 10 Happs gear shifts.  However, I only need to keep 2 of them.  Rather than re-auction the remaining 8, I'd rather pass on the savings to the good people here at BYOAC, so I am selling the rest for $15 each + Shipping, enough to recoup my total costs.  Here is the link to the auction so you can see exactly what is for sale:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=717511511&rd=1

These are first come first serve, so email me if you would like to buy one.  Make sure you include which type of gear shift you would like, as there are two different types for sale.  You can look at my feedback rating on Ebay on the above hyperlink also.

Email me with any other questions.

Update: Happs Gear Shifts for sale
« Reply #1 on: October 11, 2002, 04:32:40 pm »
I don't want to flood this board with this, so this is my only update on this.  I'm going to put them up on Ebay this weekend if I don't get any takers.

All of the 50-8017-00 HIGH LOW SPEED SHIFTERS with microswitches have been asked for.  However, I still have 4 of the pot-based 50-8110-00 TURBO UP/DOWN SHIFTERS available.  Email me if interested.

Are they pot based?  I thought they just had microswitches at both ends of the stroke...

A pot-based one would be wonderful for Lunar Lander...

Shifters are micro switch based.  It isn't a paddle:)

BTW, you could easily make a paddle for lunar lander though.

Yeah, I use my spinner for it now, but it's just not the same...
