faster respond for arcade stick?

ive try two controller with 22 guage wire for my arcade stick..and i reallized that they were not really responsive as real controller, i wonder is smaller wires will make them respond faster and more effective? thanks

Due to the small amount of current controller circuits handle, wire size isn't critical.

No, changing wire size, up or down, won't change anything.
