Tron Cocktail cabinet controls
« on: October 10, 2002, 03:15:11 am »
Does anyone know what joystick control was used for TRON on the midway/bally cocktail cabinets?  I've never seen one in real life, just pictures.

They come up on ebay every so often.  I've never seen the cocktail table either..

the joystick looks weird.  Its a red molded steal looking thing with bumps all over it.  and a single trigger.  It seems to be a little fatter then the normal tron joysticks and much much smaller.

I saw them once and said those are tron joysticks so I didn't bid on them... then realized what they were afterwards and was kinda pissed.  2 went for 10 bucks plus shipping!  It would have been way cool for a cocktail table, or just for regular control panel
