TONS of controllers up for auction - standard and specialty
« on: December 30, 2004, 10:35:28 am »
Listing a bunch of extra videogame controllers this week, some rare ones I'm sure. None SPECIFICALLY for arcade cabinets, but some of the top fire button WICO ball and bat sticks are VERY NICE to use for mame cabs. Also have a couple atari trackballs listed for under $20.

Isn't listing a bunch of the same item kinda like competing against yourself? Bidders won't bid as high knowing there are many other listings with the same item...

By the way folks, get this one if you want a ball-top with firebutton: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=41009&item=8158220776&tc=photo

You can do like I did and shave off the shaft a bit and make it fit in an original Wico base... then add a radio shack button to it...

After modding the shafts like RayB suggested, how much higher would these bat handles stick up vs. traditional ball-tops?

I couldn't tell ya what the bat-handles are like. I was referring more to the ball-top he's selling. That one, once modified sits about the same height as regular WICOs. (The NOS shafts that I was selling were all taller than the ones used in the Command Controls).

Yeah that balltop is really the main reason I posted here :)

The bat sticks and trackball should all be useful as well, but that ball-top is nice.
