credit lamps and digital display ~ help fixing
« on: December 29, 2004, 09:36:20 pm »
Hi!

I have a converted 4 player TMNT (LAI - Australia) jamma wired cab that has been converted into a NEO-GEO MVS cab with a 2 slot mobo (2 player).

I have some trouble with the sound, but I think this is to do with the jamma wiring but that's another story.

The cab has the original 'Sunrise universal credit board' as well as the digital credit readout and lamps for each player. This was rewired when converted (free cedit buttons, counter and sentinel all work fine) but the lamps and credit display weren't wired up.

I rewired them, but only get '0' on the credit readout and no advance.
The board is set for 'standard mode', but I changed it over to 'stored credit - 4 players which uses the lamps and credit display.. but no good.

Should I give up having the credit display and lamps working?. It appears they're only for 4 player (what it originally was) cabs and not standard 'conversion' video games.

I see the neo-geo mobo has outputs for a credit display.. can these old sunrise displays be wired into the neo geo mobo?
