cupholder options?
« on: October 08, 2002, 02:38:32 pm »
So what are people using for cupholders on their cabinets? (I remember a thread about this a long time ago, but couldn't find it in the search function).

when using the search funtion be sure to expand the date restriction at the bottom... (that always gets me)

I plan on using marine style flip down cupholders ( maybe search for beverage holders as the technical term? )

Don't have a link handy...  sorry.

For some reason, attaching a cupholder to my cabinet seems so gauche... and I'm not sure I really want to encourage liquids around the control panel anyway (although the only control really in danger from a spill is the trackball...

It would be really practical, though...

that is the downside... but if the liquid has a designated place for "storage" it's not being rested on the angled controlpanel when you aren't looking.

I'd worry about spillage, but dammit, beer and gaming gotogether too well! Especially golf games (oh and maybe driving games if you are the sadistic type =P )
