just got my order, however, its not what i really expected from this stick...cause it make the clicking sound when i move, i thought all the stick from Happs arent suppose to make noises except those cheap official stick like pelican and other stuff...

No all microswitch sticks make noises, don't worry you will hardly notice it when you are playing a game. If you want silent sticks you need a Perfect 360 or a leaf switch stick.

lol all joysticks (other than optical ones) make clicking noises

but too bad your ultimate stick kinda sucks, shoulda gone for the super or competition (well depends on what you play gameswise)

If you don't want clicks you need to get either a leafswitch stick, or an optical stick (like the Perfect 360).

Four points I'd like to make here:

1) Not ALL joysticks click.
2) Comps and Supers are almost as bad as the Ultimates.
3) Companies do not name their products based on any performance evaluations.
4) Subzero has NO idea what he is talking about.

You think I didn't know about leafswitches? I really only meant for joysticks that you can buy new.

Yeah like it's a big deal?
Where can he get a new joystick that doesn't click?

There are tons of places to get new leaf joysticks. Extensible Ammusements, Imperial, etc... They just arent new WICO leafs.

This link is not for you Zero, but for others who might actually be looking for a cheap new leaf stick. These are not WICO's and in my opinion do not compare, but are still decent sticks.

Centsible Amusements

Hope it helps,

Alundra,

Apollo and Gozur are correct, [edit: NoOne, too! Sorry, dude. :)] all joysticks that use microswitches (that means the Happs joysticks) make that clicking noise.

Subzero23 is (incorrect) edited by saint

Here's another link for new Wico-style leaf sticks.
http://www.videoconnect.com/pages/joys.htm

Scroll down to the bottom, it's the last item on the list.

Most arcade games since the late '80's have used microswitch sticks, so you'll get an authentic arcade  feel from a comp or super stick. If it's silence and performance with a stiffer feel you crave, the P360 is the stick for you. Expensive maybe, but awesome...

...and apparently cheaper if you phone order all the parts seperatly!
