« on: December 21, 2004, 07:29:26 pm »
Hi Everybody.

Im snopes (from Spain), i have arcade cabinet since two years ago.
My cab have ipac (2 players) PS/2 all this time.

Today i bought a p4. I have XP but now, with the new computer ipac doesnt work in xp. IT'S CONECTED OK.

The ipac works fine when i go into the bios. I can move and get action with shift keys, but not in win xp.

somebody knows why and how to resolve this problem?
Thanks a lot

Try changing the USB keyboard setting in BIOS

It's very strange cause my ipac (PS/2) works, except in winxp with my new P4.

I just mention that because I remember something similar on the Ultimarc forum. http://www.mameworld.info/ubbthreads/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=ultimarc

I had a problem with my IPAC not being recognized unless I plugged it into a USB 2.0 port.

None of the ports on my motherboard worked.  I was lucky that I'd installed a USB 2.0 card for faster access to external drives.  When I plugged the IPAC into that everything worked fine.
