Sega holograms???
« on: December 20, 2004, 03:41:56 pm »
Does anyone remember years ago Sega (I think) released a game that was supposed to have small holograms as the playfield?

What was it called?

Thanks

I believe it was Holoseum (?)

It wasn't really holograms though just the peppers ghost effect (reflections on glass) and I believe it is in MAME if memory serves me correctly.

Edit:

YepHolosseum but apparently Sega made a few

Don't forget Time Traveler!
If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

To be fair though, they DID use a concave mirror to generate a 3D effect, so while not TECHNICALLY holograms, the effect was the same(a real live 3D picture that you can almost touch).
