Star Wars Yoke
« on: December 17, 2004, 11:23:26 am »
I was interested in trying to build my own Star Wars type yoke.  Does anyone have any information about the dimensions and range of motion in the original yokes?  I'd like to build something similar to Joey Holman's design, but with the physical design of the original.  Something I could put a repro overlay on.

http://www.arcadecontrols.com/hosted/yoke/

I built my own a while ago and have been happy with it--i believe there  is 120 degrees vertical (from all the way down to all the way up) and 120 degrees horizontally (full left to full right) (working from memory here)
its better to not post and be thought a fool, then to whip out your keyboard and remove all doubt...

Awesome, Thanks!

I've been looking all over for something like that.  It should definately be added to the controls section of this site!
