cool, thanks guys!!  I`ll check the links out... Im mainly lookin for arkanoid stuff that goes under the plexi on the CPO.  I dont know if the original had a nice CPO or just the instruction cards and stickers that go around the buttons ... I think my cab was a dedicated arkanoid. Well, its the same cab as the one on www.klov.com anywayz....
http://www.klov.com/A/Arkanoid.html
looks pretty generic without sideart or anything, but if that's the way they did it, so shall it be.... ;D

There is no such thing as an "original" or "dedicated" Arkanoid to the best of my knowledge. It was only available as an upgrade "kit".

I've seen Arkanoids in a wide range of conversions, personally the two I owned were:
- SNK T.N.K. III cabinet (beast of 3/4" particle board)
- Midway Pacman cabinet painted black and formica'd over (the horror!!!--i'm refurbing it back to PacMan now)

On eBay I've seen them in every conceivable cabinet, but Pacmans and Froggers are the most common I've seen them in.

Looking on eBay right now, I see one in: a Pacman, a Frogger (2x), a Burgertime, and 2x of the same, unknown conversion (similar but not identical to a Frogger).  In fact, this is the MOST Arkanoid's in cabs I've seen listed at one time on eBay in fact.  A few weeks ago I saw one in a Pacman or MsPac cocktail.

The one on KLOV is an older Taito cabinet from QIX: http://www.klov.com/Q/Qix.html Notice the placement of the P1/P2 buttons on the FRONT,? Identical.

Thanks Mamefan, now I really dont know what to do to this thing ;D  I guess all this time I've had a Qix cabinet then....  I was thinking I was doing the right thing by "restoring" the cab back to Arkanoid ;D  Oh well, I've never even played Qix so I'll just leave it as Arkanoid ;D

Ok after consulting the KLOV a little more I discovered that many games were released in these generic Taito cabinets between 81-82 including Qix , Alpine Ski, Jungle Hunt, Space Dungeon etc.. So, I guess I'll just do whatever I can and not feel guilty about converting or MAMEing it.  Thanks Mamefan.......
