They take apart a Dreamcast controller. Then they solder wires from the original controller button contact points. These wires are basically extension cables for your buttons.

I bet those things could be front-mounted to make the memory card slots externally accessible.

You could, but why would you? I have a DC cab and with the VMU slots on two controlers populated with MEMCARDS there is plenty of room to store                                 game saves and scores without swapping cards.

Has anyone used controller 'extension' cables to add extra outlets for 2 more controllers?  Get some 4-player gaming going  :)

Plus, does Blitz work well with an 8-way controller?
