Anyone using keyboard/mouse with halo 2?

i just got halo 2, never played the first one on Xbox. and i find the controls horrible! i cant aim for my life how are you supposed to use that crappy stick to aim.

and was wondering if anyone uses it, i read some reviews they say its good but a little weird since you cant turn faster then the hardcoded turning speed max. but i still think for me its better then that thumbstick

also , what would you put your keyboard and mouse on to play? i usually sit in my computer chair and turn it toward the TV which is like 90 degrees to the left of my computer desk, so i cant really use my computer desk and turn my head i would have a sore neck in 20 minutes. any ideas on how to use  amouse/keyboard in a chair comfortably? obviously a laser mouse, and i could get a wireless keyboard if needed
