is this a real wico joystick

I just bought this on ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6137475794&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOAB:US:6
It was kind of a impulse buy. I already have two p360 for my mame machine. I guess I just liked the green color, maybe Ill build a xbox controller with it. Anyway my question is is this a real wico joystick and does it have a spring or the grommet? wich is better? I know nothing about these joysticks I just read wico's are good. Did I overpay?

Yes.
That's one of the Wico microswitch joysticks that have the rubber grommet in them.
They are really great sticks.
Which stick is better depends on your particular feel.
I personally prefer the rubber grommet sticks to all others on the market, but am not too particular on the leaf vs. micro switches.
And pricewise $15.00 is a good deal for them.

Yeah, 15 is a great deal, especially considering it's a colored one. The red ones are everyplace, but other colors are hard to get!

How can you tell that it has the rubber grommet and not the spring? Im not sure what rubber grommet is being refered to. Is it the white block at the end of the stick? the piece of paper in the picture shows a detail with a spring.

The Spring is there to hold the Actuator in place. You can tell it uses a Rubber Gromet because if you look at the picture you can just barely see it. Look at the center hole where the shaft goes through. Do you see that gold part? That is part of the Gromet. If it was a Spring based Wico you wouldn't see the Gold.
