Replacement coin door locks
« on: December 11, 2004, 12:22:30 pm »
My cabinet came with a HAPPS coin door, but the coin door and the door below it (where the change goes) are missing the locks.  Anyone know what the proper name for these is and a good place to get them? I would prefer to buy them at a retail store instead of online if possible.

Also, any recomendations on how to patch the holes in th cab where the huge security bar was that draped across teh coin door? I wanna remove it since its overkill on a home unit, but not sure the best way to patch the holes that will be left from the big bolts.

The locks are just .75" drawer locks available from any hardware/home store.  You want the longer of the two possible locks (1 1/8" I think).

I used plastic hole caps from the same hardware store to fill my security bar holes,

I know you said you didn't want to buy them online, but I've got them at a really good price.  And I ship quickly.  Of course, this time of year that doesn't mean much.

Most hardware stores should have them as well, and you're looking for 7/8" unless it comes with an offset cam.

Hey Peale, if I order from you, which of the ones on your link do I want?
