Mame doens't find my mouse
« on: December 11, 2004, 12:15:33 am »
I've tried to set up my Happ 3" trackball using the ps2 port but Mame doesn't seem to see it. When I'm in a game and hit tab to goto the menu for the trackball setup it says n/a. I use it as a mouse in windows and in mamewah without any problems. Please help!!!

If you are using mame32, go to Options->Default Game Options->Controllers and make sure the "Enable Mouse Input" checkbox is turned on. If that doesn't do the trick, then more info is required...What version of mame are you using?

Ohh, BTW...welcome to the forum!

Vids:  Home built MAME machine, Crystal Castles. Arkanoid
Pins:   Williams Aztec (working). Stern Nugent (not working...yet), Williams Phoenix (major not working, missing parts.... )

Always on the lookout for buying 90's game with Ramps that need work...

if you're using regular mame, you need to change the option in your mame.ini file that says "mouse 0" to "mouse 1"
first off your and idiot

Man I love the internet, haha.
