Bezel restore

Hey guys I have a Astro Invaders Bezels (painted behind the glass) that was turned into a Mr. Do bezel. My question is: Whoever converted the bezel, did it with a heavy duty sicker on top of the glass. Is there anyway to remove this without killing the original paint on the other side? I mean this stuff is thick and very on the glass.

The original bezel art is probably screen printed not painted and as such very hard to destroy. You really want to just try a very small portion of the bezel and see how you go but I imagine you should be fine.

Likely if the Do artwork is on one side, and the AI art is on the other side, you won't damage one or the other, unless you are clumsy and do something stupid.

What sould I use to take the Mr. Do stuff off? Is there something I can put on there to soften the very hard tape like stuff? I meen this stuff is rock hard.

Don't assume it is "very hard to destroy"! I've seen art on pinball backglasses just flake off when the glass was jostled too hard. It really depends on what kind of weathering the glass has been exposed to.

But pinball backglasses aren't screen-printed, to the best of my knowledge...

I really believe the art work is painted on because it has flaked off in some spots. Its just like the Berzerk bezel, I believe it was done at the same time. I have heard that even water can destroy this artwork.

If I know how to get the Mr. Do stuff off, I'll put a protective coat on the Astro Invaders artwork before Mr. Do removal. But like I said this stuff is really hard. Any ideas of what to use?
