Since Arcade Jukebox apparently can't be modified according to my wishes, I'm going with Arcade Music Box 8. So, I'm new to all of this and actually just got an idea about making my own mp3 jukebox. I don't have a lot of money to spend on it so I've got to make it cheap. No touchscreen or similar expensive stuff. Got an old computer from a friend - celeron 566, 64MB RAM, and a new 40 GB is coming on Monday, and probably a creative labs live card. The Jukebox will be about 100-120cm of height, made of plexi sides, with neon lights inside, and aluminum on the edges to hold it all together, since the plexi can't do much about that. My main problem is the wiring (of everything), so I hope to get some advice here later on. Still working on how to hold the monitor (just 15", don't have anything bigger so it'll have to do...) inside (I'm planing on taking of the plastic casing, but am afraid I'll screw sth up...). Also, i have six buttons of a poker machine, and need a step-by-step how to make them work! My other issues are how to wire the neon lights to the computer power and similar smaller problems (gonna mention them in a few weeks when i actually start assembling the thing)...
About the speakers - i want 2 small PC speakers inside, and plug in an external speakers/amplifier... So, that's about it, work will start when i get all the hardware and plexi, alu parts i need. Surely gonna run into some new problems along the way, so I'll be hoping for help from the older and wiser (that's all of you). That's it for now, I'll inform you about it
