I was reading this from someone, and it sounds kinda good / kinda gross.

Has anyone ever tried something like this?

Code: [Select]
Chocolate GravySounds crazy but oohhh man ..... bake you some biscuits add butter over the top then cover them in this:

Chocolate Gravy

2 1/2 tablespoons cocoa
3 tablespoons flour
3/4 cups sugar
1 cup milk
1 cup water

Mix throughly. Heat and serve.
Code: [Select]
                                             CHOCOLATE GRAVY
Code: [Select]
                                             CHEESECAKEIngredients:
2 bars, Philly's cream cheese (The best, and don't get anything but regular)
2 cup, granulated sugar
1 chilled pie crust (Try to find one with lard, ask the baker under your bed)
1 set of pie weights, or dried rice / dried peas
Eggs (4/6, whites only)
Key lime juice, one jigger
Curry powder, pinch / pinch an' a half
2 cup, raisins

Directions:
Mix until uniform, 2 bars Philly's, and sugar (Pour in a LITTLE bit of sugar, mix, and repeat until you think enough's been added, don't add all two cups unless needed)
Taste, if it tastes like cheese cake, you're in business.
Blend in lime juice to taste, curry powder to taste.
Lime juice adds tartness, curry powder, sweetness.
Pour in raisins a LITTLE at a time, until things seem raisiny enough for yah'.
Beat in eggwhites
Preheat oven to 365 degrees
Fill pie crust with weights, cover with pie crust top (or hat, if you've been raised to think of such things as hats)
Bake crust for 15 minutes, or until golden brown
Remove weights, fold mixture into pie house (or crust, you unimaginative barstewards)
Let chill for 2 / 3 hours, slice and enjoy with a glass of milk or sweet wine.
Code: [Select]
                                               CHEESECAKE

CRAP!  I heard stories about my grandmother who ate food and SHE died too!   ;)

Isn't it always the guy who lives to be 90 who drinks Jack Daniel's every day, has a cigar with dinner, and has steak and potatoes 7 days out of the week?

Danny, I have no idea why I thought that was so damn funny, but now everyone withing 100 yards of my office thinks I've gone totally off the deep end. ;)

Oh and Drew, my grandmother is still alive at 90 something, and I'm fairly sure she eats food at least every once in a while. I'll have to check on this.

Luckily, I was at home with no one around, so my sanity is still unquestioned! (at home, anyways)
