Respect - what is it?

Shamelessly stolen - not very respectful, hey  ;D

Respect n: the condition of being honored (esteemed or respected or well regarded)

You cannot buy respect
It is earned

It is the highest achievement a person can hope to obtain

It cannot be bought
It is not handed to those that have been here the longest
If you ask for it, you will never receive it

It is rewarded to a very select few
Those that shine clearly above the rest
That have indeed earned the respect of others

They have shown their willingness to help their fellow members
Have a question, they are there
Have a problem, they want to help through no self agenda
This is what they do
This is what has earned respect.
You’re always in control of your behavior. Sometimes you just control yourself
in ways that you later wish you hadn’t
