<tongue in cheek>
If you paid for it, then it would be yours. If somebody else wanted it, they could buy it too.
Once it is yours, what you do with it in the privacy of your own home is your business.
There are those that don't want to buy it, but DO want to tell you what to do with it if YOU buy it.
Screw them.
Honestly, even when I make a cab from scratch, I make it a point to buy a restored unit and jig-saw gut it for no reason and dump it in the ditch.
In fact, I purchased a fully working Gondomania, and melted the marquee in the microwave, just to have the image you see in my sig file! Then I torched the rest of the machine, and peed on the ashes.
I mean, I paid for it, so what the hell, right?
Look, Paul McCartney SHOULD have purchased the rights to the Beatles music. He didn't. Whacko Jacko did. Do I agree with that? What does it matter if I agree? We live in a free market. If there were so many people that wanted that Joust cab in its original form, it wouldn't still be for sale.

LOL If that was the answer you wanted, I can only offer it in jest.
