If the price was right I'd buy the actual game from that cabinet from ya.  Thats just a run of the mill dynamo cab, pretty much what most SF2 games were found in.

Looks like a Dynamo cab to me. I would like to have a couple of those since they work well with either 19" vertical monitors or 25" horizontal monitors; and can be commonly had in both ways (Ikari Warriors is a common 19" vertical and SFII is a common 25" horizontal that are both commonly found in Dynamo cabs)  I'd like to have one set up both ways.

Thanks guys, I figured it was a Dynamo.  I am a total newb to cabinets, but I know enough to expect a heavy cab with a Dynamo.

It looks like it need some work, but its gonna make a great winter project for me.

Would it be tough to fit a new control panel on this unit you think?

I want to replace the existing setup with a 2 player 7 button layout with some P360's.

screws are on the bottom of that CP and it latches inside at the top with luggage style snaps. It is rolled sheet-metal.

It has a hinge so it swings down from the top.

There are several button configurations to be found on that style control panel, and they all show up on eBay from time to time. It is a 2 minute operation to swap the control panels. Wiring the buttons and stick are another matter however...

Check out this one at the bottom of the page:

By the way, I would love to hear of a place that had BLANK or uncut panels for the old Dynamo cabs.

Once you work with putting controls on metal you will never go back to wood hacks. The install is so much more natural and no bevils or awful looking "mounting plates" required.

The new Dynamos are nice, but they are expensive, and the CP's don't swap with older units without some modification.

On a side note, many believe that these cabs are all after market. That isn't really true. SNK had them make the original cabs for Ikari Warriors for example.
