Thinkpad parts (A20M)
« on: December 05, 2004, 02:23:05 am »
I am parting out a thinkpad A20M. It has the following issues. Screen backlight no longer works, and it will no longer turn on.

The LCD itself is fine (so would make a replacement for a cracke one). The hard drive, mini PCI modem, battery, CDROM, and ram are all fine as well.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

How much ram is it?  Also, how big of hard drive?

256 RAM ( 2 pieces of 128 each)
10 GB hard drive.

I'd be willing to take a piece of ram off your hands, if it's not too expensive.

How tall is the hard drive?

if it's a 9.5 mm I'm in need of one for a repair.

Later,

Do you know if ram from an A20 will work in an A30?
