Couple of Happ questions
« on: November 30, 2004, 10:59:13 pm »
Has anyone tried their 8-way red ball-top joystick? I found out about it from Amy Polich in customer service. (I'm not referring to the reunion stick)

When oh when will there be colored supers? I can't say they're better joysticks than the competitions but they sure do feel nice and look better imo.

Anyone know of any other colored-bat style joysticks other than at Happs?

I've got a couple of the reunion sticks.  They work nice for 4 way games.  The ball isn't as big or the stick as long as the ones I grew up using on Pac-Man games.  I plan to use them in a cocktail.

T-stiks.
Based on your other posts, I don't know if you'd care for the stiff spring/short throw on them though.

Ya it's true, that's why I wasn't really considering them

actually in my vision (from a dream I had) I want a stick that looks like the super with a blue like competition JS -blue

Happ doesn't really make most of their joysticks. They just buy them from overseas manufacturers. I know iL makes most of their stuff.

They DO make the P360s themselves, which I think is funny, because it looks like they stole Wico's mold for the base. I just got mine today. The base appears to be the EXACT same base used on classic wicos.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

You might be able to swap out the handles on the Supers and Competitions.  I don't have a super but I have a T-Stick and the shaft on the T-Stick and Happ competition seem to be swapable.  From pictures I've seen Supers joystick shafts look similar to the one on the T-Stick so it might work.  I've noticed some of my other joysticks shafts are swapable too.  Like the ball top shaft from my Pac Man Reunion joystick fits perfect in a competition joystick.
