Uk suppliers
« on: November 28, 2004, 01:05:18 pm »
Hi.
Can anyone tell me if there are any good UK suppliers of arcade stuff (joysticks, buttons, i-pacs and things like that).
Most of the companies mentioned on here seem to be in the US and though i'm sure they would send me things, i'm not sure i could afford them to. I have a local coin-op place that's ok for the odd bit of second hand kit (i recently got a steering wheel, pedal box and turbo gear shifter from Chase HQ for 4 pounds), but as for new stuff he's trying to sell me a cheapo Suzo stick for 23 pounds and a pacman type stick for 42 pounds.
Thanks for any help guys.
Voodoo Ray.

Hey,

Good find on the 2nd hand parts - that sort of stuff can be hard to find over here in the UK, or come at a real premium. Sounds like the guy was having a laugh on the joystick prices though....

Luckily for us lot, the Ipac/Jpac/Optipac et al is (I believe) a rather spiffing British invention, shipped from our own shores with what consistently looks like some of the best customer support in the business.... I've got to recommend ultimarc as mentioned above or on my list (linked above too). And if you have any problems with ultimarc's stuff - well the chap is a poster right here on BYOAC too!

If you come across any other sources of UK vendors, drop me an email and I will add them to the list....
