hard to find microswitch
« on: November 28, 2004, 11:37:24 am »
I've got a broken microswitch for this joystick >:(

It came out of a Nintendo control panel

Does anyone know where I may be able to find a replacement microswitch at??

I've checked a few local places and some websites with no luck....

Thanks for any help....

That's an original Nintendo joystick.  You're missing a restrictor plate as well.  They made different ones for 2,4, & 8 way action.

Those look like pretty standard microswitches, and you shouldn't have any problems picking them up at happ or newark. They look about the same as the ones for the supers, you just have to bend the lever switch a little bit. Part number is 95-0735-00 cost 2.85 each.

You can see the where it was, it's the shiny part of the metal in his pic above.  Those 4 holes are for the screws that hold it on.  I'll try & dig one out for pics soon.

BTW, if anybody has a 2-way restrictor, I'm looking ;)

DUDE!  I used to have some of those wind-up robots.  I had the silver ones with the blue dome too.  Haha..  Thanks for the pic.  I'll be on the lookout.
